Usually, the darkness can provide us with opportunities to grow and to evolve and if we are willing to jump into that abyss, we become greater than we were.

When you see an image that has no shadow, it looks flat, has no disernable energy, lacks substance, lacks movement, is one dimensional. By adding a simple shadow, it brings that image to life by creating curves, dark areas, nooks & crannies, dimension and depth.

As these shadows are very important to an image to bring it to life, so it is with us as human beings. These shadows mould us into what we are and how we react to those around us. Our inner darkness is as valuable to us as is our light.
